The Ryan Lee Raney Foundation

There is more to your story that has yet to unfold.

What you feel today does not have to define what comes next. There is more ahead than you can see right now.

The Ryan Lee Raney Foundation was created in Ryan's memory to share hope with people walking through unseen struggles.

Community Interest Meeting

Opening remarks: Mayor Tim Radford at 6:00 PM

Mountainview Church · 169 Smith Hollow, Murphy, NC 28906

Come join us Tuesday, September 22 from 5–7 PM to help end the stigma around suicide and mental illness and strengthen our resources as a community. We want to hear your voice. Cherokee County is severely underserved in mental-health and dual-diagnosis resources. It’s time to have hard conversations, support one another, and band together as a community. We hope to see you there.

Our why

Ryan is our why.

This foundation exists to honor Ryan's life, carry his story forward, and remind anyone walking through a hard season that hope is still here — and their story is not over.

Ryan's story

This is Ryan.

Ryan was deeply loved by his family and the people around him. His life, his heart, and his story are what inspired this foundation.

If Ryan's story causes even one person to stay, his story continues.

Stories of hope

There's always a deeper story.

Real stories of struggle, healing and faith — shared so someone else knows they are not alone in what they're facing.
