Review before publication

Every submission is read by the foundation. Stories are published only after review and only with your permission. You may submit anonymously, and you may withdraw your story at any time.

Safe messaging

To keep this space safe for readers who may be struggling, we do not publish descriptions of suicide methods, graphic detail, or content that presents suicide as inevitable, romantic, or heroic. We use compassionate, person-first language throughout.

What we look for

We prioritize stories about recovery, connection, help-seeking, remembrance, and hope — including the honest hard parts, told with care.

Editing

If a story needs light editing for length, clarity, or safe messaging, we will contact you first and only publish a version you approve.

Privacy

Email addresses and any private contact details are never displayed publicly. Please avoid including identifying details about other people without their permission.
